Women are called by God to help their husbands and submit to them (Eph 5:22-24), to care for their children (Titus 2:3-4), to oversee the home with joy and diligence (Proverbs 31), to minister in the church by teaching other women (Titus 2:3-4) and being active in service (1 Timothy 5:9-10). This high calling requires women to be passionately committed to God’s Word, to God’s church, to their families, and to honoring God in the work He has provided to enrich their homes.
Women’s Bible Studies
These studies are held at various times throughout the year in order to best meet the spiritual needs of the women in our church. In the past, we have studied such books as The Excellent Wife by Martha Peace and Idols of the Heart: Learning to Long for God Alone by Elyse Fitzpatrick.
The women of CCC are involved in a variety of service and support ministries such as preparing food for the sick, ministering to the elderly, and showing hospitality as a part of the regular ministry of the church.
Each year the women hold a retreat to help them grow in their relationship with the Lord and with one another. These are excellent times of fellowship and in-depth Bible study.
