Children

but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14

The Children’s Ministry at Christ Community Church seeks to support families in the spiritual discipleship of their children.  Parents have been given the primary responsibility to nurture the faith of their children with loving and consistent instruction, correction, and modeling (Ephesians 6:4, Deuteronomy 6:6-9).  Our desire is to support and encourage parents as they seek to train up their children according to Scripture.  (Prov 22:6)

Children’s Sunday School – 9:15-10:15 am

Our Children’s Sunday School uses the Generations of Grace curriculum, which is designed to teach the whole counsel of Scripture to children with a central focus on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is a three-year curriculum, studying through much of the Old Testament over a two-year period and then the books of Matthew, Acts, and Revelation in year three.
We pray that as children learn the precious truths of Scripture, they will love God with their whole heart, (Deut 6:5, Matt 22:37), respect and obey God’s Word (John 14:21, 1 John 5:2-3), honor and obey their parents in all things (Eph 6:1-3, Col 3:20), and desire to love and serve others (Matthew 7:12, John 13:34-45, 1 John 3:17-18).
