Unity of the Body

The Bible continually reminds us to increase in our maturity as Christians. We begin as born-again Christians who feed on the milk of the word. From there, we progress in maturity until we eat upon the meat of the word. We grow in maturity in character, wisdom, and bearing fruit. Part of our maturity requires us to be mature in our relationship with the body of Christ by being in unity.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

The Assembly of Worship

The main idea of the message is that we will endeavor to fulfill our purpose as worshipping members of the church. We need to strive as a church, to be a unified worshipping body, and we need to strive as individuals to be a member of the body who worships. We see the scriptural basis behind this idea, and we will review practical suggestions on how to fulfill God’s purpose. We desire to please God in our obedience to His ways.

God's Mission

As we celebrate missions, let’ remember that the ultimate goal of missions is the accomplishment of God’s Mission. God’s mission is to freely offer the rich treasures of Jesus Christ to needy people. We live in a world filled with needy people who are looking for answers. Jesus is the answer. The gospel is good news. Jesus promises to meet our every need. He offers peace and rest. He gives our lives purpose and meaning. He protects us from our enemies and gives us safety and protection. Only Jesus offers forgiveness of sin and everlasting life. If you know Jesus, rejoice. Know that He is meeting your needs.
