What is the Fruit of Salvation? (part three)
The main idea of the message today is the same as last week. We are to seek to bear good fruit from the Spirit and not from the flesh. We will cover these three truths.
• Fruit from the flesh
• Fruit from the Spirit
• Fruit for the glory of Jesus
What is the Fruit of Salvation? (part two)
Fruit is as important to our salvation as it is to the health of our bodies. What Jesus says at the beginning of John 15 (v. 1-17) proves this to be true. God purposes in us that we bear fruit. He prunes and cultivates us, so we produce the maximum amount of fruit. All who abide in Jesus will bear fruit. Our fruit is proof that we are disciples of Jesus and in union with Him. And, bearing fruit brings us fulness of joy.
Who’s Your Mother, Hagar or Sarah?
The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “All the nations will be blessed in you.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer.
Adoption, Welcome To The Family
Adoption, welcome to the family. 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.
